Sports Council

Our Sports Council is formed from children from Year 1 to Year 6.  Two children are voted to represent each class by the children.

Our Sports Council for 2018-1 are:

Y1- Zaki and Noah

Y2S- Noan and Peyton

Y2H - Lizzie and Dylan

Y3- Vincenzo and Oliver

Y4- Joshua and James

Y5- Rose and Evie

Y6 - Connor and Isabelle

At James Brindley, our Sports Council meet to help make decisions about our annual competitions calendar, the range of extra-curricular activities we offer, and the format of our annual sports day. The class representatives take ideas and comments from the children in their class so everyone has a voice; they then feedback to their peers after each meeting.

We are very proud to have achieved the Gold Kitemark for Physical Education for the past two years.

Spring Term Update - we are currently organising our Sport Relief Week which will run from 19th-23rd March

Autumn Update- Taking our letter to Mr Moore asking for permission to buy new playtime equipment.

Sports Council 2016-17

Each year the Sports Council is allocated a budget, and as part of their expenditure for 2015-2016 the children had decided to spend some of their money on a 'Boom Box'. The Councillors wheel the Boom Box out every Thursday lunchtime and provide music for their peers to dance along too. It has been hugely popular!
