PTA

Welcome

We would like to introduce ourselves as the James Brindley PTA. We took up our roles at the start of the 2014-2015 academic year and are enjoying working with the Staff, Pupils and Parents/Carers of James Brindley.

Our main objective is to organise fundraising events and activities for the children of James Brindley and their families, to help to purchase some items and activities that the school budget cannot meet.  As well as raising money we aim to bring together the pupils, staff and families in fun and sociable ways.

We very much want to continue the excellent work of the previous PTA and to maintain many of the events already established in the school calendar.  We are also looking at some exciting new fundraising opportunities and also welcome any ideas or suggestions that you may have.
Our events calendar has been carefully chosen to offer a range of activities requiring varying levels of parental involvement.   We hope that you may find activities to participate in that suit your preferred level of involvement and commitment.

The current committee members are

We very much welcome your ideas and opinions and can be contacted via

We hope that you will take the time to look at our fundraising and events pages to see how the funds have been raised and how the money will be spent.

James Brindley Lottery
We are excited to announce that we have recently launched a James Brindley School Lottery.  Following the registration of our lottery with Salford Council we are now able to run a Lottery at the school for Parents, carers, staff and friends of the school.

We intend to hold ten draws per academic year (one each calendar month during term time).  Numbers can be purchased in advance for the whole year at a cost of £1 per number per draw.  The prize for each draw will be 1/3 of the total proceeds each month.  For example if 150 numbers are sold for a draw there will be a £50 prize. The funds raised will go towards the equipment and activities on our wish list, and will benefit all of the children within the school.   If you haven’t already signed up for the remainder of this academic year please email the PTA for a registration form.
