Roald Dahl Day

On Friday the 13th, it was Roald Dahl Day !! where we celebrated all things to do with this world famous author.

All of the children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character and everyone looked amazing. 

Each class focussed on a different Roald Dahl text and completed work about that text:

Reception: The Enormous Crocodile

Year 1: The Giraffe, the Pellie and Me

Year 2: The Magic Finger

Year 3: The BFG

Year 4: James and the Giant Peach

Year 5: Charlie and Chocolate Factory

Year 6: Danny the Champion of the World.

At the end of the day, we all had a special assembly where the children got to share their work and announced the winners of the best costume competition.
