The course

COURSE DETAILS

The loop starts at finishes at the small bridge near Beesley Green. The loop is essentially a shortened version of the loop that runners complete between 2Km and 3Km markers on the weekly Worsley Woods ParkRun. The undulating route features a small bridge crossing and a set of steps.

Schools will be allocated a holding pen in which their children can support their team while awaiting their turn to run. Schools will be responsible for their children while in the holding pen and must complete their own risk assessments for travel to and from the event in addition to supervision in the holding pen. The event has been risk assessed and an application to host the event was formally submitted and accepted by the Salford City Council Events Team.

Marshals will be placed on all key points of the course.

Getting there!

Race Headquarters (Start/Finish area) is most easily accessed from Beesley Green, off Greenleach Lane. Upon entering Beesley Green, take the small downhill path to your right which leads directly into Worsley Woods. Signage will point the way on race day. Follow the path for approximately two to three minutes to reach the start and finish area.

Parking

There is a small amount of parking in Beesley Green. When parking please be considerate and park in the designated bays as there are homes immediately off Beesley Green. More parking is available on Greenleach Lane but again we ask that consideration of other motorists and local residents is taken into consideration to ensure the local community is not impacted by our event.
