Online Safety - For Children

e-Safety means being safe and responsible when using ICT - especially the internet! The internet is really useful, exciting and educational (just like this website), but it can also lead to dangerous or inappropriate situations which we don't want to happen to you!

Follow the e-safety rules we teach you at school and you will know what to do to be safe and responsible when using computers and other ICT equipment at school, at home or wherever you are.

Remember - always tell your teacher, your parents or an adult you trust if something you don't like happens when you are on the computer!!

Here are some cool websites with games, quizzes and videos that will help you to enjoy the internet safely:

Hectors World is excellent for infants!

Cybercafe is the best place for juniors!

This website has some really cool stuff - check out the SMART rules...

Remember - always tell your teacher, your parents or an adult you trust if something you don't like happens when you are on the computer!!

Have a look at these websites and let us know if you know any more good websites that we could link to with some child-friendly e-safety information.
