The weather saved its worst for the final race of the Salford Schools Championships. Thick mud and constant drizzle awaited the runners who braved the start line at Buile Hill Park.
We were once more grateful for and delighted with the number of blue and yellow shirts that toed the start line. Well done to all our runners who have competed in one of the cross country races this year.
The presentation, held in the Banqueting Hall after the event, celebrated the success of the event and the courage of all the children who participated. Thanks were given to parents and schools for their encouragement and continued support of the event.
The top 3 in each category were announced, but full results have not been made available yet.
