Race 1- Saturday 24 September 2016

More than fifty James Brindley runners towed the line for the opening round of the Salford Mets Cross Country Series.

The competition is always tough but as ever our runners equipped themselves well and made us very proud. Our congratulations go particularly to those children who were trying competitive cross country for the first time. It's not an easy sport and many of them were competing against girls several years older. Well done to all our runners.
